Roof Cleaning Expert was born out of experience, not theory.
Our journey began in 2006 as part of Trust Cleaner – Carpet and Upholstery Specialists, a business built from the ground up with a strong focus on quality workmanship, reliability and long-term relationships with clients. What started with interior cleaning naturally evolved as more and more customers began asking for professional exterior and roof cleaning services.
Rather than treating roof cleaning as an add-on, we recognised early on that it required specialist knowledge, dedicated equipment and a very different approach.
In 2015, Roof Cleaning Expert and Trust Cleaner – Exterior Cleaning (general exterior cleaning like driveways, patios, walls etc) were established as independent brands. This decision allowed us to fully specialise in exterior surfaces and roof care, refine our methods and invest in professional access systems and trained teams focused solely on roof cleaning.
By separating the services, we were able to raise standards, improve safety and deliver results that go far beyond surface-level cleaning.
We provide professional roof cleaning services across Yorkshire for both residential and commercial properties. Our work includes manual moss removal, careful scraping, soft washing and the application of biocide treatments designed to slow regrowth and protect the roof over time.
Every roof is different. Materials, age, exposure and condition all matter, which is why we never apply a one-size-fits-all solution. Each project starts with an honest assessment and a method chosen specifically for that roof.

Behind Roof Cleaning Expert is Tom Gorski — trained as a lawyer by education, but an entrepreneur by passion. While his academic background shaped a strong sense of responsibility, precision and compliance, his professional life has been deeply rooted in the exterior cleaning industry for most of his career.
Years spent working on-site, building teams and refining processes have shaped the way the company operates today: practical, methodical and focused on long-term results rather than quick wins.
